Seabee Operation Exploration Program

Claude’s gold exploration efforts at the 14,400 Hectare Seabee Operation continue to focus on discovering resources at depth and proximal to existing Seabee underground infrastructure as well as on Satellite deposits within trucking distance of the mill.

August 20, 2009 - Claude Resources Inc. intercepts 19.36 grams per tonne of gold over 3.3 meters at the Seabee Mine (pdf)

  • 11.18 grams per tonne of gold over 3.6 meters true width (hole U09-650).

  • 7.60 grams per tonne of gold over 4.5 meters true width (hole U09-652).

  • 15.23 grams per tonne of gold over 3.9 meters true width (hole U09-654); and

  • 19.36 grams per tonne of gold over 3.3 meters true width (hole U09-655).

September 9, 2009 - Claude Resources Inc. Intercepts 8.68 Grams of Gold per Tonne Over 4.5 Meters True Width (pdf)

  • 10.16 grams per tonne of gold over 1.6 meters true width (hole U09-660);

  • 20.13 grams per tonne of gold over 1.4 meters true width (hole U09-665);

  • 8.68 grams per tonne of gold over 4.5 meters true width (hole U09-666); and

  • 10.71 grams per tonne of gold over 2.9 meters true width (hole U09-339).

December 3, 2009 - Claude Resources Inc. Continues to Intercept High Grade Gold at Seabee Project Including 28.05 g/t Over 1.6 Meters True Width (pdf)

  • 28.05 grams per tonne of gold over 1.6 meters true width (hole U09-671);

  • 16.71 grams per tonne of gold over 1.3 meters true width (hole U09-677);

  • 10.14 grams per tonne of gold over 3.7 meters true width (hole U09-679); and

  • 12.15 grams per tonne of gold over 2.6 meters true width (hole U09-362).

These recent results extend the high grade gold mineralization at Seabee Deep. Due to the close proximity of these discoveries to existing development, it is believed that these results will continue to positively impact head grade delivered to the Company's central milling facility at the Seabee Mining Camp during 2010.

Santoy

The Santoy property, which includes the past producing Santoy 7 deposit, the advanced exploration Santoy 8 deposit and the Santoy 2 target, is located approximately 14 kilometers east of the Seabee Mine. This property is accessed by a permanent road located within the Seabee Operation.

During 2008, Claude updated its National Instrument 43-101 compliant mineral resource calculation for Santoy 8 and conducted an economic study to evaluate the portion of mineral resources it plans to mine in the first three years of the Santoy 8 project. The upgrading of the resource model is the Company's first step in the transition from exploration through bulk sampling to commercial production at the Santoy 8 deposits.

At December 31, 2008, the mineral reserve at Santoy 8 was 177,300 tonnes at 7.02 grams per tonne, the indicated mineral resources consisted of 545,600 tonnes at 8.98 grams per tonne and the inferred mineral resource was 391,500 tonnes at 8.08 grams per tonne at a cut off grade of 3 grams per tonne.Seabee Mining Area Mineral Reserves and Mineral Resources December 31, 2008(pdf)

The Santoy 8 power line project has been completed to connect this project to the provincial grid. This project has been implemented to take advantage of the significant environmental benefits and the decrease in energy costs to power the Santoy 8 project.

Claude views the Santoy 8 project as a key driver in the expansion of the Seabee Operation and in lowering operating costs over the next three years. Pre-construction approval was received during the third quarter for portal development and settling pond dam construction. The Company has initiated pre-construction and is currently in the final process of completing the permitting required for planned commercial mining of the Santoy 8 and 8E deposits in 2010.

Seabee North

The Seabee North area is located approximately three kilometers northwest of the Seabee gold mill.  The Porky Lake West and Pigeon Lake gold zones lie on opposite flanks of the Porky Lake antiform, along a gold-bearing break which has been traced intermittently over 7.5 kilometers from the western extent of Porky West deposit to the north end of the Pigeon Lake zone in the east. Drill testing from 2002 to 2006 successfully discovered two zones of mineralization, Porky Main and Porky West, associated with the hinge area of the Porky Lake antiform.  Drilling and exploration during 2010 will focus on the Pigeon Lake zone as well as the northern strike continuity.

Claude obtained an additional 35,000 tonne bulk sampling permit for the Porky West deposit in 2009.  Dewatering of the decline and underground development was initiated.  Once preparations were completed, a decline was driven down to access the 75-11 sill and a cut and fill lift extracted on the 65-11 sill.

Exploration Quality Assurance and Quality Control Procedures

Rigorous quality assurance and quality control practices have been implemented on all Company drill programs including blank, reference and duplicate samples with each batch of assays. Samples are analyzed by fire assay with a combination of atomic absorption and gravimetric finish at an independent ISO approved facility.

Santoy 8 samples are analyzed by fire assay with a combination of atomic absorption and gravimetric finish at an independent ISO approved facility. Santoy 7 samples were analyzed by fire assay with a gravimetric finish at the Seabee Mine laboratory, with check samples sent to an independent ISO approved facility.
