We are currently seeking a Jr. Environmental Coordinator (Summer Student) at our Underground Seabee operation.

 

Jr. Environmental Coordinator (Summer Student) Position

This position’s primary responsibilities will be: Sample collection of water, soils, and industrial wastewater; record sample data and contribute in preparing reports for environmental regulatory agencies and intra-company purposes; perform site inspections and ensure compliance with Federal and Provincial regulations; monitor and maintain environmental sampling equipment; promote proactive environmental awareness for the company.

The successful candidate will be working towards their Environmental Diploma. Computer skills are required; Microsoft excel, work and office; GIS Arcmap would be considered an asset; must be familiar with Federal and Provincial legislations and regulations for the mining industry.

All candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills.  A positive and proactive attitude toward safety is essential.  Duties will be conducted with strict adherence to Claude Resources policies and procedures.

The work rotation will be one week in, one week out.  The Seabee mine is a fly-in camp with flights coming from La Ronge, Prince Albert, Flin Flon, and Saskatoon.
