We are currently seeking a Surveyor at our Seabee/Santoy Gold Operation. Primary duties will include all aspects of an underground operation as follows: Jumbo development; Sill development; Shrinkage stopes; Alimak raises; Cavity monitoring surveys; and Surface cadastral surveys. This challenging position will be of interest to candidates who have graduated from the field of mine technology or survey. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in underground surveying including shrinkage stope surveying, alimak raise surveying, and competent in AutoCad and Excel software. The qualified candidate must have the ability to work alone and unsupervised. Mine Rescue experience would be an asset. A strong work ethic and good communication skills are required. The work rotation will be two weeks in, two weeks out, working 11 hour shifts. The Seabee mine is a fly-in camp with flights coming from La Ronge, Prince Albert, Flin Flon, Cumberland House and Saskatoon.
